Clark County Regional Justice Center

Infax's DocketCall® was included in the construction planning of the new Las Vegas Regional Justice Center (RJC), which opened in 2005. The Regional Justice Center processes over 5,000 cases daily. The RJC's DocketCall® system receives feeds from four separate court management systems, including Tyler Technologies' Odyssey, and updates displays continuously in real time.

Justice Center officials chose to display all of the facility information in two large banks outside of each main entrance. These locations were custom designed to replace a planned lobby planter, and were built and installed by the Infax engineering team and their subcontractor. Each bank features fourteen 40-inch displays, and a brushed metal shell that coordinates with the facility's lighting and public seating. There is also a 17-inch monitor outside of each of the facility's 46 courtrooms.

Clark County runs their DocketCall system on a virtual VMWare server hosted by the county, with docketCall running in a client Windows Server session. The system was set up so that Infax can provide remote support via a Virtual Public Network (VPN).

The Clark County Courts include the Eighth Judicial District Court and the Las Vegas Township Justice Court &emdash; both located in the Regional Justice Center (RJC), a 717,000 square foot, 18-story justice center. The Eighth Judicial District Court is the largest general jurisdiction in Nevada and handles more than 90,000 new cases each year. The Las Vegas Township Court presides over the Las Vegas Strip and the unincorporated areas of Las Vegas as the limited jurisdiction court for urban Clark Court. The facility houses the Municipal, District, Justice, Supreme and Traffic Courts.
